Catholic Charity and Development Appeal

In the Gospel, Jesus calls us to live as people of light: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Faith lights the way when we allow Christ’s light to guide our lives and be shared with the world. Our faith is not meant to be hidden but placed on a lampstand—shining brightly so others may encounter Christ through us.

When we live out our faith through acts of love, generosity, and service, others come to know God’s goodness through us. This is the heart of the Faith Lights the Way theme for the Charity and Development Appeal.
